why i learned to code

i mean, isn't it obvious? i wanted to learn to code so i could make my own website. i don't like the polished look that places like wix and google sites provide. and i certainly don't like using something like ai to create a website. #fuckai.

besides, mama morgue (my mom) created her own website back in high school with html and css. so why not learn?

here we go, what y'all had been waiting for. i used a combination of two websites (btw those double as links below).

• html dog
• w3schools

if i'm being honest, i recommend looking at them in that order. i used html dog first, then used w3schools as a sort of reference book.

i'm not even exaggerating, to get the first three webpages done it took about five days (and that's with some breaks in between due to real-life distractions). that's not taking into account me browsing tumblr and pinterest and glitter-graphics for some stuff to throw in for decoration.
